Tryouts for our travel Cannons program are now being scheduled.  These teams compete in the New England AAU Baseball program.  The latest information will be posted here, so please check back frequently.  Additional details on each age level will be provided by each manager, but the season primarily consists of off season winter training and weekend games.  Practices during the spring are worked in around the town spring season schedule.  Players selected for Cannons must also play Norfolk Spring Baseball to be eligible.

Age level placement is based on a player’s age as of April 30th in a given year.  However, players who are younger but also the same grade are eligible to attend tryouts at appropriate level tryouts.  Example: 10U is for players who will be 10 by April 30th, 2025.  A player who turns 10 between May 1st and August 31st who is also in 4th grade can opt to attend the 10U or 9U tryout.

Final roster selections are entirely at the discretion of the team manager.

Winter Training: Two weekly practices at Next9Up starting in December thru March w/professional trainers
Home Games: Freeman Kennedy 46/60 Field
Total Games: Approximately 20 consisting of double headers and away games
Roster: Approximately 11-12 with 2-3 alternates
Cost: $1500 for the season (includes all training, games, and uniform/gear)

Tryouts: Sunday, July 21st from 4:00pm-6:00pm at AAA Freeman Kennedy (Sun 7/14 was cancelled).  Players can sign in at the tryout.

9U

Manager: Steve Cordo
Winter Training: Two weekly practices at Next9Up starting in December thru March w/professional trainers
Home Games: Freeman Kennedy 46/60 Field

Tryouts: Sunday, July 28th and Sunday, August 3rd from 10:00am-12:00pm at AAA Freeman Kennedy. Players can sign in at the tryout.

8U (Developmental)

Winter Training: One weekly practice at Next9Up starting in December thru March w/professional trainers
Home Field: Freeman Kennedy AA Field
Practices: Once per week during the spring season (no games)
Roster: All kids
Cost: $500 for the season (includes all training and uniform/gear)

Tryouts: No cuts at this age level.  Field Day Informational session will be held Saturday, August 10th from 10:00am-12:00pm at AA (Railroad) Freeman Kennedy.
