We are doing something a little different for the upcoming 2026 spring season and have decided to hold evaluations this fall instead of late in the winter.  We feel this will be a better experience for everyone involved, it will protect the players’ arms from overthrowing after a long winter break, and it allows us to evaluate the kids on baseball fields instead of the confined indoor space we have access to in February.

Evaluations for the Spring 2026 season will be held at the Flex Field at Freeman Kennedy on Saturday, September 27, 2025 and Sunday, September 28, 2025 with a rain date the following weekend (October 4th and 5th).  The time slots for each grade are listed at the bottom of this post.

We recognize that many kids play other sports in the Fall and there will be conflicts.  These evaluations are not mandatory but are highly encouraged.  For those new to the process, our evaluations are primarily held for the purpose of creating balanced rosters across divisions in AA, AAA and Majors.  Our main goal of the spring season is to create an enjoyable experience for all players while focusing on player development – these evaluations help us foster this environment.

Evaluations are only for AA, AAA and Majors.  Players in Tee-ball or A-Ball (Pre-k through 1st grade as-of Spring 2026) do not evaluate.  6th graders also do not evaluate.

There is no need to register ahead of time.  We will have all players check-in upon arrival.  If your child played this past spring and you are unsure if they will be playing next year, please attend.  There is no commitment to register for the spring season based on this evaluation.  Spring registration will likely open in November.

 

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check-in and warm up.  Please wear cleats and bring a glove, helmet and bat, if possible.

4th grade: Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM

5th grade: Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
